Duty Production Manager – Maintenance Production P145 SE

At Scandinavian Airlines, we are dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency in aircraft maintenance. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Duty Production Manager to join our dynamic team at Arlanda Airport where we maintain SAS fleet of A320, A330 and A350.

As a Duty Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our aircraft maintenance facility. You will ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards. You will be part of the management team and report to Production Manager ARN.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate daily production activities in the maintenance facility.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and support maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Monitor and optimize workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and present reports on production performance and maintenance activities.
  • Address and resolve any issues or delays in the maintenance process.

  • Communicating skills at a high level.
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong decision-making skills, especially under pressure.
  • Understanding the risks involved in aircraft maintenance and knowing how to mitigate them.
  • A deep commitment to creating and maintaining a safety-first environment.

Minimum requierments

  • Formal education within aircraft maintenance.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of EASA P145 regulations.
  • At least 5 years of experience from the aviation industry.
  • Driver license for car.
  • Ability to speak and understand at least one of the Scandinavian languages.
  • Good English communication skills and preferable a Scandinavian language
  • High proficiency in IT.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Leadership training.
  • Previous experience from using Amos.
  • Part 66 license with SAS operated aircrafts endorsed.
  • Knowledge of other regulations such as FAA
