This opportunity at Arlanda Airport follows a rolling shift pattern covering days and nights. Reporting to the Station Engineer/Duty Engineer/Supervisor, you’ll be part of a global team ensuring safe, punctual, and cost-effective operations.

ABOUT THE JOB

As an aircraft technician at Arlanda, your primary tasks will involve maintaining and troubleshooting and correcting problems/deficiencies that have arisen regarding our aircraft in order for them to be able to maintain the safety and quality that the aircraft should have. The work mainly consists of the following tasks, but is not exclusively:

• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance according to technical documentation and company procedures.

• Perform bug fixing/troubleshooting to keep down any remaining notes.

• Monitor and certify the work of mechanics.

• Actively participate in continuing education efforts aimed at maintaining your license and permissions.

• Actively follow all regulations, both locally and at the airport you operate in.

• You report directly to the station manager.

ABOUT YOU

Personal qualities:

• We are looking for someone who appreciates working independently as well as part of a team. You are solution-oriented and possess the expertise in identifying long-term as well as short-term strategies to achieve set goals or maintain routines.

• You are flexible and have an ability to handle different work situations, without sacrificing quality. You are described as meticulous and structured.

• You see adapting to different types of work tempo as a matter of course. You enjoy working on many tasks at the same time, but can change the way you work according to each situation for optimized delivery.

• You are solution-oriented and possess the competence in identifying long-term as well as short-term strategies.

• Above all, you are service-oriented and communicative as the work sometimes involves contact with direct customers and other relevant partners.

 Requirements:

• Licensed EASA Part-66 B1/B2 technician with valid and current authorization on B737NG, B737 MAX or Airbus

• Driving license, category B

• Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing, good computer skills

• Available for work outside Arlanda

 Strong merit but not requirement:

• Good knowledge of Part-145 organization.

• Licensed EASA Part-66 B1/B2 technician with a rating on B787

• Good knowledge of Amos
