External Maintenance Production & MRO Contract Officer at Braathens
Publicerad den 24 januari 2025Braathens is currently on an exciting journey with a new business focus to provide ACMI capacity to other airlines and at the same time providing sustainable aviation. BRA provides capacity both domestically in Sweden and international charter routes together with major tour operators Ving and Apollo. From beginning of 2025 we are operating the majority of our ATR fleet for SAS domestic in Sweden and Denmark and for Austrian Airlines in Europe.
We are now looking for an External Production & MRO Contract Officer that will work together in our line planning team for our Technical Services department in Stockholm (ARN).
The Technical Services department is a part of the CAMO organization and has the overall responsibility for the Technical Services processes. This means that the applicable maintenance manuals and documents are kept up to date according to the latest revisions, and furthermore that maintenance on our aircraft is planned, carried out, reported, and archived in our maintenance system within given time frames for the maintenance program for Braathens fleet.
The External Production & MRO Contract Officer will be responsible for our external MRO contracts and will together with CAMO management negotiate contracts for destinations within our network were Braathens have need for Maintenance activities. You will be our point of contact for our external MRO´s and have close contact with partners to follow up on the contract obligations and be the chairholder for daily/weekly meetings.
In your role, you will be an important player in the Line maintenance process, to plan, coordinate, and follow through on the line maintenance events for the Braathens fleet of ATR 72 and Airbus A320 Family aircraft. You will be involved in new traffic programs in cooperation with Network for seasonal changes and coordinate MRO needs for our destinations. You will also have a close cooperation with our logistic department to set up material needs for new technical stations.
The role includes short term planning of events which are usually performed during an overnight stop, in close collaboration with Maintenance Operations Control and Network/operations department. Ultimately the planned work is coordinated and handed over to Line maintenance production organizations for external MRO´s. In your daily work you will utilize the IT tools AMOS (MMIS), PDC and MS Office frequently. Other technical services-related tasks may be included in your daily duties.
We are looking for candidate who have:
– Engineering degree and/or Licensed Engineer with good knowledge of airworthiness regulations, have worked within technical department for at least 5 years.
– Operational experience of maintenance planning
– Experience of setting up contracts between CAMO and P-145 organizations
– Good knowledge of English and Swedish in speech and writing
– Very good IT skills
– Knowledge of Quality and Compliance Systems
– Knowledge of EASA regulations Part M/Part CAMO and Part-145 incl. Safety Management System
We see it as advantageous if you have:
– Operational experience of a technical records IT-tool such as Stream, Flydocs, Airvault etc.
– Experience in MMIS system AMOS
– Experience of ATR/Airbus Line/Heavy maintenance
– Experienced with SGHA and CAMO.A.315 (c ) contract.
